In the heart of downtown Madison, beneath the marble columns of the State Capitol, Besa and Val exchanged vows in an intimate civil ceremony rooted in intention. After celebrating their wedding abroad in Macedonia the year before, this day felt like a quiet continuation of their story, honoring the city they now call home. The afternoon began at their downtown flat with moments of getting ready, a champagne toast, and cake cutting before the walk to the Capitol.

From there, they celebrated with loved ones woven into the rhythm of the city and later moved toward the lake, letting architecture and motion guide the remainder of the day. Chic simplicity carried the story from beginning to effortless finish.
